Royal Doulton Bunnykins
The story goes that in 1934, Sister Mary Barbara Vernon who was the daughter of the factory manager, drew the first Bunnykins character. Everyone who saw the sketch was charmed by it and so the Bunnykins range was launched. The Bunnykins Collection still continues today and has a huge following. The early pieces designed by Barbara Vernon are the most valuable and are somewhat difficult to come by.
